The shuttle took off last week. We watched it from our front yard, but clouds made it harder than usual to see. The rumbling thunder is still impressive.

Tonight there was a report on the crew. One guy is going out tomorrow to fix something on the shuttle WITH SCISSORS AND DUCT TAPE!!! That’s what they said. What must he be thinking? “I’ve got to get home in this baby…sure hope this here duct tape holds.” There will be some tense moments on landing day.
