More Current Than Today’s News

Studying Romans in Sunday School. Came across some of my old notes with these quotes from scientists who don’t believe in God, despite their own observations:

William Dembski, in The Design Inference, quotes Richard Dawkins, a staunch Darwinian: “Biology is the study of complicated things that give the appearance of having been designed for a purpose.”

Francis Crick, of Watson and Crick DNA fame: “Biologists must constantly keep in mind that what they see was not designed, but rather evolved.”

The apostle Paul writes in Romans 1 that men “suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”
